A brief overview of my photography and editing courses.
I have been running one-to-one workshop/courses since 2003. Please read some of the testimonials.
All my photography and editing workshop/courses are one-to-one (unless you have asked for a group or family workshop/course).
Course dates are completely flexible because they are one-to-one! If you are travelling on the day and the weather is not looking favourable we can postpone the course to another mutually convenient date.
- I have a full CRB disclosure.
- I have full public liability insurance and indemnity.
Dependant on the course selected you will get to learn about the following in an easy to understand language:
- Composition - As this is the most critical part of a good image
- RAW format
- Graduated Filters - Tricks and tips
- ND (Neutral Density) - Filters and tips
- Polarising Filters and their pitfalls
- Focal Length and pitfalls of VR, Steady Shot and Vibration Reduction
- Aperture Control
- Depth of field making the foreground sharp and the background sharp
- Shutter speed
- ISO
- Tips and other helpful information to broaden your knowledge of photography
As of September 2021 all Workshop/Courses are now run from my Studio in Dolau, a small village nestling between Llandrindod Wells and the Radnor Hills.
The landscape photography workshop/courses include a Powerpoint presentation with Q & A in the morning (the theory part), and a practical, hands-on session in the afternoon.
As all Workshop/Courses are one-to-one, there is no set plan for the afternoon practical session; you ask the questions you want, and together we will answer them.
